Validation requirements
- EV uses stricter checks of organization identity, operating status, and authorized contacts.
- Validation is scoped to the CA, supplier, legal entity, and expiry; it is not a permanent global approval.
- Timing depends on data completeness and manual review and is only an estimate.
Private keys and data
- Provider-generated key; delivery disclosed before purchase
- The supplier generates this product's key; delivery, download, and processing are disclosed again before confirmation.
- Required organization and domain data is sent to the relevant CA or supplier.
Coverage and certificate validity
- You purchase the listed service coverage—not one leaf certificate with a fixed number of days.
- The current certificate's notBefore and notAfter come from the actual issued certificate.
- Reissue during coverage and any renewed validation follow the product policy and CA rules.
Refunds and support
- Cancellation before supplier submission follows the policy accepted with the order.
- Eligibility may change after a supplier order, CA review, or cost has begun.
- The final refund policy version is locked with the quote and order.
