What can multi-node checks reveal?
idcd multi-node checks test the same target from different regions and network operators. Comparing latency, packet loss and availability helps identify issues affecting particular routes. Each check describes only the selected nodes at the time of testing.

A successful Ping only means the target responded to an ICMP probe; it does not establish that a web page or API is available. Investigate website access issues by also checking HTTP status and response time, DNS records and SSL certificates.

When citing idcd results, retain the target address, test type, nodes, test time and report link. A shared probe report is a snapshot of one check. It does not replace continuous monitoring or establish availability in every region at all times. To verify results, repeat the check with the same target and parameters.
