Which tool should you choose?

Where should you start when a website is slow or unavailable?

Start with HTTP responses, then use DNS, Ping and traceroute to distinguish resolution, network and application issues. A check covers its nodes and time rather than replacing continuous monitoring.

A live SSL check reads certificates served by the target; the certificate decoder reads a supplied file. A correct file does not establish correct deployment, hostname matching or client trust.
