Convert JSON, YAML, XML and CSV locally in your browser, with validation and downloads.
JSON input
YAML output
How to use
• Convert: pick a source and target format, then click Convert — any combination of JSON / YAML / XML / CSV works.
• Swap direction: flip source / target in one click and reuse the last output as the new input.
• CSV uses the first row as a header to build an array of objects; XML keeps attributes (@_ prefix).
• Memory: when on, your last input is saved to local storage.
What does Data Format Converter do?
Convert JSON, YAML, XML and CSV locally in your browser, with validation and downloads. Review field types and nesting before using the results in another system.
Interpreting results and common questions
Can converted data be imported without checking it?
Check nesting, arrays, types, nulls and delimiters. JSON, YAML, XML and CSV differ in expressiveness; output must still satisfy the receiving system’s field and encoding requirements.
References and result limitations
Local results depend on the input and selected options. Retain the input example, format and processing rules when citing a result, and verify the output. Keep keys and other sensitive material out of public examples.
